Here is an interesting tidbit of information from the Guardian, an article titled “Children fear intrusion of national database, report finds.”
The article discusses how young people in England are concerned that a national database will harm them in the long run, because it is intrusive, Big Brother style, potentially inaccurate, and not secure. In addition, many said they didn’t trust the government maintaining the database.
Again, another good example of the idea that it’s not the technology that matters but what we do with it. And isn’t that what we are supposed to teach our children?
